Florida, known as the “State of the Sun”, is situated on a large peninsula at the southern end of the East Coast of the United States. This a little more than 1.650 km south of the City of New York.

Located just south of Orlando in Central Florida, Disney World is surrounded by many other amusement parks with guidance for the whole family, including Universal Studios, Marine World and other attractions too numerous to name them all. Together constitute the largest amusement park across the globe. Central Florida is known for its agricultural land to production of oranges, citrus, sugar cane, vegetables and beef.
The southern tip of Florida is a tropical jungle and a swamp area. Everglades National Park covers nearly the entire southern tip of the peninsula from Miami and Naples. It also has huge grasslands and humid tropical islands with areas of open water or ponds. This vast area is full of insects, wild birds, lizards, snakes and other wildlife.
There is an archipelago of islands over one hundred miles (160 km), called the Florida Keys, which extends southward from the tip of the peninsula and into the Gulf of Mexico. There are a number of bridges and tunnels in 90 miles (150 km) long connecting the islands to reach the people of Key West, in the extreme south. Here is the only tropical reef of North America. This is truly a paradise for lovers of diving and fishing.
Handle of Florida is the narrow portion of land that extends east from the northern part of the peninsula. Bordered on the north by the state of Alabama and south to the beaches of the Gulf Coast. This area of Florida is less commercialized and less oriented towards tourism. It has beautiful white sand beaches and shallow water and warm, but few facilities for tourists. This part of Florida to attract permanent residents or seasonal residents and offers more condominiums and houses for rent hotels.
