Barcelona is a city of a thousand faces: it is a collection of a thousand cultures and charming corners. It is a city chameleon, which changes with each season. In summer, Barcelona is empty. Festival Grec
From June 29 to August 2, the whole city is transformed into a showcase of performing arts, with the Teatro Grec as epicenter. The best theater groups and the world come to Barcelona to show their proposals.

Summer case
From 18 to July 19 is celebrated on summertime (in both Madrid and Barcelona). This is the perfect festival for lovers of indie music and rock pop. In this edition, you can enjoy groups such as Sex Pistols, Blondie and The Breeders. Other groups in the size of Kaiser Chiefs, Interpol, Ian Brown, Primal Scream, We Are Scientists and The Planets join these. If you like electronic music, names such as MIA, Santogold act or CSS as well.

B-Festival
From 9 to July 29, the eclectic music festival will be held in two locations, notably the scenes throughout the neighborhood of Poble Espanola and the recently released Space Movistar. This year presents a diverse board: we can hear the pop of B-52s and Edwards Skye (Morcheeba), the soul of Macy Gray and Erykah Badu, the blues of Johnny Winter, the hip hop of Marcelo D2, the Afro-jazz Gerald Toto, Richard Bona and Lokua Kanza; dance Brazilian DJ Dolores; to the poetry of Kevin Johansen & The Nada and the rumba Muchachito Bombo Infierno and Peret. Music for all tastes!

Harley Days
From 10 to 13 July, Barcelona will host the 105 anniversary of Harley Davidson - which hopes to bring together more than 205.000 visitors -. Offer a multitude of activities, such as a bike decorating competition, the birthday party and the parade of flags along the streets of the city.

Festa Major del Raval
12 to July 14, a stage in the Rambla del Raval, where he held open mic sessions, concerts, poetry and all kinds of live shows whose main feature is the fusion of nationalities. It is expected that over 8,000 people visit the festival.

Other proposals

The city has some 50 museums, showcasing permanent collections and non-permanent. Artists such as Picasso, Joan Miró or Antoni Tèpies have their own museum.
