Three different ways to discover New York

08.01.09

I have friends who have had experience with rowing absolutely unique in the literal sense of the term, so I guess they did not have much interest to know New York sailing kayak, but I have like a very original and striking closer to the Big Apple (which does not mean they have to go by boat from Spain, eye).

There are several options, from tours to learn the Hudson River (that it is an “unbeatable”), to excursions to the natural reserve of Jamaica Bay, an area of high ecological value close to JFK airport. You can find more information in this article on Gadling.

For those who do not share the sports but the pleasure to discover routes and original places, look no further than this tour through the ruins of New York from old abandoned sanatoriums until parts of the ports or even amusement parks. A look peculiar to the city, and secure, with great opportunities for photography.

Another curiosity dress for a trip to the city of the Empire State: You may now be accompanied by famous New Yorkers during his visit to Central Park.

Well, not exactly accompanying him, but it will be very similar: calling a phone number set up by authorities in the Big Apple can hear about the sights of the park, and other curiosities personal stories told by people like Kevin Bacon, Yoko Ono, McEnroe, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jerry Seinfeld. I found it here but have all the information on the page of the site of Central Park, where it says if you have to pay a premium so you do not touch Yoko Ono.

Finally, if your trip can not be more cool and totally in, I leave here a list of 10 things not to do in the city and its corresponding options.
