Functionality, comfort, excellent location and a very competitive price, as it is not one of the most glamorous I’ve visited, but if you want a good accommodation in Brussels without spending much money the Alma Hotel is an option to be considered.
This is a three star hotel located very near the Grand Place, which is new construction despite being in the heart of the city. Outside the building has an air of industrial S XIX curious, is not strikingly beautiful but also we find unpleasant.
Inside is a modern hotel, highly functional and decorated in a rather Spartan and impersonal, which seems designed not merely to annoy. The beds are comfortable with a small defect in a very small pillows and soft for my taste, but that’s just my personal taste, and also can ask for more at reception.
The bathroom is spacious, but no bath, which for me is also without any problem. It is also quite comfortable and even with some nice design touches.
Housekeeping is impeccable, both in the room as the bathroom or in common areas.
But the best part of the hotel is its location: is about 50 meters from the Grand Place in Brussels, and I am not referring to the 50 meters or 5 minutes of so many tourist brochures which then become only a few hundred usaina Bolt in recorrería less than one quarter of an hour.
This unbeatable location, cleanliness, comfort, support and price (cost me a double room € 70) makes it a very interesting option for those who want to know the capital of Belgium and spend a few days.
