Each year a large number of Americans who fly for the first time. As exciting as it is a time traveler in the first place, many pamphlets for the first time at a disadvantage. This disadvantage does not know everything about the airport you are using or the airline will fly. If you are traveling for the first time, you have to go in this exciting experience consulting with unanswered questions. Instead, it is advisable to get the answers to your questions.

If this is the first time, traveling in the air, there is an unlimited number of issues that have many. Some wonder what the best international airports and others want to know exactly what is an airport to fly intentional. If you intend to fly abroad, it is recommended to become familiar not only with local international airports, but also international airports as a whole. You may find that after not only knows what he’s doing, but also a better assessment of international travel.

In the E.U. there are two types of airports. These airports are airports domestic and international airports. Perhaps the best way to learn more about international airports, namely what they are, is to learn to compare the national airports. The domestic airports are more common in the United States, compared with international airports. This is essentially an airport is considered a domestic airport.

The domestic airport is an airport in the United States, which operate flights to and from other cities or states have set even in the United States. Not since his plane left the U.S. territory, the flights on domestic routes. In essence, an airport, called the homes of domestic flights as a domestic airport. Moreover, there is an airport intentional.

An international airport is an airport that offers flights from the U.S. to other countries. Although they tend to the fact that, specializing in international flights, most international airports are not only international flights, but domestic flights as well as advertising. For this reason, the international airports are often larger in size compared to most domestic airports.

The size of an airport also has a direct impact on how to do this as you go around the airport. Once again, but not all national airports are relatively small in size, many of them have only a few terminals. These terminals are also likely to be turned on or all in the same building. The international airports are a different story, indeed, international airports are so big they have to delegate some of its passengers between terminals.

Although there are a number of differences between international and domestic airports are airports, there are some similarities between the two. These similarities are checked more frequently and procedures for screening passengers. Due to concerns about airport security, and on international flights, the airline industry began to take a series of rigid rules. These rules often include a ban on dangerous goods and intense competition, such as the removal of all shoes. In most international airports, domestic flights are not always separated from international flights, this means that all passengers go through security checks and the same tests.

As you can see, it is easy to learn about international airports, especially in comparison with the national airports. Now that you know exactly what is not an international airport and it is looking for an international airport, the services you need, if you have not done this can offer.

St. Thomas, an island of the Virgin Islands is a popular holiday destination. If you are interested in planning a vacation to St. Thomas, a series of important decisions that have to do. One of those decisions involves travel.

When it comes to travel, many people who are just worried about how they will be in St. Thomas. While it is important to know how to reach the island, you also need to know what to do once you arrive. Even if you stay in a hotel that offers a range of activities on site, facilities and services, you may still want to go out and see what Thomas has to offer. Before you can do this, you have to develop a travel plan.

As with many other popular vacation destinations, St. Thomas has a wide range of methods of travel. Many of these travel options you can do yourself, but others may require the assistance of others. To determine which method of travel is the best thing for you while on vacation in St. Thomas, we encourage you to carefully examine each method of travel. Once you have familiarized the advantages and disadvantages of each, you can make an informed decision.

One of the most common ways to get around the island of St. Thomas is to conduct yourself. It flew in the area, will arrange a rental car. Rental cars are available at all St. Thomas. The rental of a vehicle, you may need to get a new car insurance. This policy of auto insurance is only temporary, but necessary in St. Thomas. You will find that most of the United States insurance companies do not cover the counties of driving abroad.

The main advantage of this guide is that you yourselves have complete freedom with which you can go. The guide is also beautiful in St. Thomas, because of the size of the ‘island. During his vacation, you can easily drive the entire length of the island. You can find this exciting because you can afford to have the opportunity to see the whole island.

While driving in St. Thomas is popular, many people are uncomfortable driving or are not capable of anything. As an alternative to driving yourself is to take a bus. Bus departure and arrive at popular holiday destinations in St. Thomas on a daily basis. In addition to transport tourists from the airport to your destination, the bus route can often turn right at the most popular commercial centers. For the most part, travel by bus is the cheapest way to travel to St. Thomas.

In addition to taking a bus, you can also roam the island in a taxi. Taxis are a great way to see St. Thomas, however, can be an expensive way to travel. Apparently, in St. Thomas for a number of taxi drivers do not have control of the distance for the trip. Unlike taxis in the United States, the counters are not used. This means that you must be careful to take a taxi. It may be better to ask the cost of the trip before going inside the vehicle.

The above methods of travel are the most popular St. Thomas, however, are not the only ways you can go around. When making travel arrangements, many tourists do not even consider around St. Thomas by foot or by bicycle. If you are in a disadvantaged area of St. Thomas you can find everything you need close to your hotel or resort. If this is the case, you may want to consider the way to your destination or renting a bicycle. You can rent a bicycle for the day or for the entire stay.

If he had traveled around St. Thomas by foot, bike, bus, taxi or rental car, you’re sure to get where you need to go. Each method of transport is effective. The best method for all depends on where you go and what to pay for the trip.

If you are of your family are interested in taking a summer vacation, you must make several decisions. Two of the most important things to consider when planning summer vacation is what your destiny will be and how much it will cost the party.

When researching popular destinations for summer holidays, is likely to occur among the holiday packages. If you are wondering exactly what a summer vacation package is, you’re not alone. A number of individuals are unsure exactly what they are. Summer vacation packages are often considered as an offer or discount. Instead of paying separately for your hotel and the beach or the park entrance, it is likely that only pays a lump sum payment.

While the hotel and holiday accommodation in the vicinity have been included in a vacation package, you are encouraged to take the time to buy one. Summer vacation packages are offered by a wide range of different companies. Any company can offer its style of package. This means that while a vacation package can include the cost of access to a private beach, another can not.

Accommodation in hotels and nearby attractions are often found in a hotel package, however, can not be the only thing he found. You may be able to find travel accommodations included. These packages are often large resorts or cruise packages. The trip included in the vacation package is likely to be by plane, bus or train.

With packages summer vacation destination, there is a misunderstanding among the general public. This misunderstanding is the amount of money you save by buying a packet of summer vacation. As mentioned above, these packages are often considered as an offer or discount, however, is not always the case. Before agreeing to buy a package, we invite you to compare the cost of the package with the cost of holidays and pay as you go.

When comparing the cost of a pay as you go to buy a summer holiday destination, are encouraged to keep the cost of travel in mind. If your vacation package includes travel expenses, you must determine if travel arrangements are still needed. If you select a summer vacation destination, located near or within driving distance to your home, you can save a considerable amount of money not driving instead of flying.

To determine if the hotel accommodation included in the vacation package worth the cost, you should compare the cost structure. To contact the hotels listed in a package, can easily determine the cost of the stay. The same information can be obtained by visiting the online site of hotels that want to request information. You might be surprised to see a difference between the two. Depending on the destination of vacation packages in question, you can see the difference can save you money or ends up costing more.

When searching for vacation destinations online, you may not be bombarded with packages and discounts. If you are presented with these offers can easily find them. Most vacation packages are offered directly by the owner of a specific hotel or restaurant. If packages are available for direct purchase of a station are often large.

Travel websites and online business travel agency which includes the majority of package holidays. Online travel sites are beautiful because they are often free to use, but are encouraged to look for hidden charges. These hidden charges, if any, might cause a significant increase in the cost of package holidays. If you use the services of a professional travel agent, their services will cost, but their fees are fixed in advance.

The only way to determine if a package holiday destination in summer, you will save money is to examine closely the details of the package. Be sure to read all policies and exclusions. Looking closely at the details of the vacation packages will ensure that you do not lose money when they should be kept.

Got a bunch of gastronomic temples around the world to give you your most avowedly vice. Of course the great restaurants of Paris, Rome or Tokyo, but also lesser known as Singapore, the epicenter of fusion cuisine either in its popular street hawkers as in better restaurants, and Lima became the capital thanks to American dining good work of chefs such as Gaston Acurio revolutionaries who have been able to introduce the world the combination of excellent raw materials from Peru and the colonial heritage and culinary issues with the flavors of Chinese cuisine and Japanese immigrants brought with them from the Far East came to this country in the nineteenth century.

If what you like is to leave you wonder, you’ll find yourself at home in Dubai, with crisis and everything is still the great showcase of the world arrogance. At the heart of its financial center has just opened on 4 January, the highest skyscraper in the world: the Burj Dubai or Burj Kalifa, and 192 to 828 meters high, of which 160 are habitable floors. For his guts up and down to 10 meters per second, 57 elevators, and inside houses from an observatory in which to admire the day or night a 360 º view over the city, the exclusive restaurant At.mosphere floor 122 and up an Armani hotel. Furthermore, the emirate was already before the hotel, the mall or the amusement park world’s largest, the largest indoor ski slope and a lot of excesses as the Burj al Arab hotel, which form large candle design rises above the sea and calls itself as the only seven stars in the world.

Who has not dreamed of winning a chunk on a lucky night and forget forever the mortgage, the chief and the slope of January. To play the great, nothing like a trip to Las Vegas, where dozens of casinos which delirious await those eager to try their luck.

If this is your sin you can not miss the amazing erotic sculptures that adorn countless Romanesque churches like St. Peter’s Collegiate Cervatos and many others on horseback between Cantabria and Palencia as the church of Bolman, in Reinosa. In Italy, fresh from the ruins of Pompeii are about as risque as extremely explicit reliefs of the Hindu temples of Khajuraho. But if you propose really leave you with his mouth open, you’re into “Love hotels” or love hotels in Japan, where the lack of privacy in their tiny houses made flower these spicy though most respectable establishments for couples wanting to your imagination.

Few people, to one degree or another, are free of it. But if yours is really bad, look at the travel agency on the corner one of the prohibitive offers nothing in the months that typical hotels offer all-inclusive Caribbean. Certainly you will not see much of the country, but instead will have one week ahead of dolce far niente to enjoy the sun, sea and a truly enviable climate now. From the hammock to the restaurant and spa pool, with at most a little bit of sport with the monitors of the “resort”.

If more than feel what you want is to provoke, we suggest a getaway to renew the best costume shops in Milan, Paris or New York, or the most relaxing of retreats to care for body and spirit, whether in places as close as the Sha Wellness Clinic of Alicante and in the other corner of the world as the hotel Shambhala Estate in Bali.

Just walk in so many places in the Third World to unleash one’s anger is against injustice and inequality. To add your two cents, you can always work with the myriad of NGOs working to combat serious and even participate in field trips organized by many organizations in solidarity and as SETEM agencies, Sodepaz Association ICID, Alternatives, responsible travel, or Light Years Tarannà.

This town just as well planted with 300 rooms stands at the edge of the Sierra de Guara. Its frame is made of stone. And the courage to defend against the infirmities of old age also appears. In his collegiate remains high, half castle, half temple, in the heat of a long wall with battlements and built on an ancient mosque. In its first part is a tower building and the courtyard of the Romanesque church. The cloister has interesting Romanesque capitals and fifteenth-century wall paintings and beside it is a museum with Romanesque art, Gothic and relics. The people down, kept its old medieval packaging. Not lacking in the expected lanes, or the arcade. Nor stone mansions with coats and noble bearing. Once Alquézar, be sure to try the wines of Somontano and approach the Vero River Cultural Park, which holds numerous cave paintings.

Albarracín, medieval charm
It has great palaces, but the streets are so many legends have their walls battlements. Or almost. One of them, the most famous, tells how the Infanta Doña Blanca de Aragon, who lived a prisoner in the Tower of Blanche, low in the full moon to bathe in the river Guadalaviar, as they did in life. Her ethereal and luminous figure is then run through alleys and escarpments to reach the shore. Follow his example is the best you can do to admire this splendid medieval enclosure that keeps the charm of the cobbled streets or the half-timbered. Access to the old town is the Plaza Mayor, from here feel a bit like what path to take, because all are suggestive. The Cathedral, the Episcopal Palace, the Convent of San Esteban, the churches of Santiago and Santa Maria, plus some unique homes, such as the Julianeta the Chorro and Azagra street. And do not miss your chance to own a sweet taste of Albarracín known as ben almohábanas Razin and around, getting to the whole of the rock art Rodeno.

Besalú and film bridge
The image of his fortified bridge with unequal arcs defensive tower, saving the banks of Fluvià not be more eloquent and has a better picture from the old Jewish quarter. Situated between the mountains of La Mare de Deu Del Monte and the Sierra del Mort, was a key military location, equidistant from Olot, Girona and Figueres. As Independent County met its best moments between the tenth to twelfth, before going to depend on the house of Barcelona. Plagued flavored corners and battle armor, visiting Besalú you start at the Prat de Sant Pere, medieval square where stands the church of the monastery of Sant Pere. And then go from temple to temple: Santa Maria, which left only his head, San Vicente and San Julian. If among the civil buildings stands the City, home arcades Cornellà or Tallaferro street, in the ghetto you can contemplate one of the oddities of Besalú: the mikva, the medieval Jewish purification bath would be found near the synagogue. The Natural Park of La Garrotxa Volcanic Area is an evocative excursion to see the surroundings.

Daroca, echoes from walls and miracles
The legacy of monuments of this town is hard to match. Its walls, with two miles of battlements and towers, still protected inside over fifty monuments, many of them of great artistic value. The main gates are the gate enclosure Upper and Lower Gate and most visited temple church of Santa Maria, famous for the miracle of the Body. Take place in the thirteenth century when, during a battle, pass the transmutation of the sacred blood forms. The temple is notable for its Gate of Forgiveness, as well as the chapel of the Body, in one of its oldest areas. The Gallocanta Lake is nearby.

Frias, guardian of the Ebro
The profile is unmistakable: There was once a town stuck on a mountain … and on top, dominating all, his castle. And is it so close to the mountain that conforms to the rock like a glove, as well as some of the houses is close. Today the bastion of Cold does not keep its pace drawbridge, but from its battlements panoramic enjoys good, especially the people. Not far is the church of San Vicente, but with original invoice Romanesque Gothic and Renaissance chapels. The visit would be incomplete without approaching Frias to the bridge over the Ebro, armed with a nice defensive tower. And if you continue to discover the environment, here are three exciting proposals: Nozzle, Ona and Medina de Pomar.

Irresistible Morella
Both the walls to protect Morella doubt that if they rose to defend or to enclose. This is attested to its two miles from girdle wall, pierced by six gates only. No wonder that over the centuries has created an aura of invincibility. Of course, the car must be left outside. The castle square helps to understand the reason for his fame. E produces equally strong impression into the Gothic church of Santa Maria. Steep streets, mansions, palaces, museums, temples, an aqueduct and more complete the menu of the visit. And if this does not coincide with its famous Festival six years, which is held every six years, be content to visit the museum dedicated to her. In the surroundings, the Plaza Mayor in the town of Forcall worth a visit.

Pedraza, a village story
Almost entirely walled, access to this manor and Castilian village is by the door of the Villa. Next to it stands the former prison (s. XVI), closed in the past and lime for the guilty and now open to wide public curiosity. In the maze of streets stands the Royal Street, lined with old houses, access road to the Plaza Mayor, a prominent attraction of the town. Another is his castle, which today houses the museum of the painter Ignacio Zuloaga. And another cuisine, reputed due thanks to the expertise of its figoneros in roast lamb. If you can, organize your travel time and do Pedraza coincide with the Concert of Candles, held in July, leaving the town wrapped in the magical light of torches over 30,000. The route must be continued by Sepulveda, the Natural Park of Duratón Sickles, Sotosalbos, with its Romanesque church and the village of Turégano.

The maze of Ujué
It is a people Ujué airy, very airy. Stroll through its streets and the rooftops are that Ujué is high upon a hill overlooking miles of plains and Bank, at the eastern end of Navarre. On the outside it looks like a village crowded around the temple fortress of Santa Maria that crowns it, and inside a maze of narrow cobbled streets, well served with shields and gates. The temple holds the heart of Charles II, the Bad, King of Navarre and benefactor of the shrine. In the surroundings you should visit: San Martin de Unx, Olite, and the Monasterio de la Oliva.

Urueña, watch Tierra de Campos
It is the only completely walled population of the province of Valladolid. In fact, thanks to the protective belt has managed to sail on turbulent centuries of struggles and skirmishes, to stay where it is: in an exceptional balcony overlooking the vast plains of Tierra de Campos. You must climb to the battlements and watch from the door of the Villa chapel of the Annunciation, the only example of Lombard architecture that can be seen and touched in Castile and Leon. The best time, as usual, is the sunset. Three more dates have to enter in your route: the church of Santa Maria Del Quicksilver, Joaquin Diaz, Ethnographic Museum and the Museum of the Bells. And do not miss nearby, the Monastery of the Holy Thorn and the Mozarabic basilica of San Cebrián de Mazote.

Neither is a capital or even considered being left Europe, but has been designated European Capital of Culture 2010 by the EU itself. Under the guise of understanding the riddle, do not resist the gorgeous big year in this megalopolis.

Although Ankara is real, nobody doubts that the unofficial capital of Turkey is Istanbul: Byzantium ancient Greeks, Persians and Macedonians in Constantinople to resist the Eastern Roman Empire and, until into the twentieth century, the darling of the Ottoman sultans, who spared no time to decorate the fabulous palaces and mosques of this bewitching city channel starting in the Bosporus Strait, bounded by the Black Sea and Sea of Marmara, and then split in bud more monumental by the sparkling water pit dubbed the Golden Horn

With around ten million souls, Istanbul is not only the largest city in Turkey, in addition to the epicenter of political, economic and cultural development. It is also one of the most vital megalopolis, disconcertingly contradictory and beautiful course around the planet. With one foot resting on the other in Europe and Asia, none like her to officiate as a bridge between East and West and promote cultural exchanges at European level, which is the aim that this vibrant city with so many centuries behind him is set for, at least the next twelve months.

A city in love and not need major excuses to go to his respects. Even if you need some, surely find it among the many and good that have been prepared under the slogan Istanbul, a city of four elements. This is the axis on which the programming revolves orchestrated by the flamboyant European Capital of Culture 2010, which was officially launched on 16 January.

To live in style its great year Istanbul has a new concert hall, a new library and a handful of new museums and art centers. And also to keep up has restored many of its monuments, including the walls or scaffolding permanently flooded church, then mosque now museum of Hagia Sophia.

Also been given a facelift to the old kitchens of the Topkapi Palace, home to a superb collection of Chinese and Japanese porcelain, but will be in the museum grounds where it opens a major exhibition in February around the Persian civilization and another, which runs until August, about the treasures of the Kremlin.

Meanwhile, in the halls of the Archaeological Museum between March and June coincide tribute to the mosaics in the Italian city of Ravenna and exposure The Assyrians in Istanbul, while the City Library will host throughout the year countless EnCuentos and activities around the woman in Istanbul from its role in Byzantium or in the Ottoman Empire until its important transformation in our time.

Among the museums that will put out to coincide with the cultural capital stands dedicated to the expansion of Sinan, the most glorious architect of the Ottoman Empire or, from July, the inauguration of the Museum Island Istanbul on one of the islands of Princes, and the Museum of Innocence that, inspired by the eponymous novel nobel Orhan Pamuk of Turkey, shows the evolution of the daily life of the city from the ’50s to today.

Photography, film, visual arts and video installations by international artists-including a remarkable contribution in the Catalan Antoni Muntadas Kadirga Art Center during the first two months of the year “dot an agenda distributed by the many sites that will host demonstrations from folk to dance and theater festivals such as puppets, to be held in March and May, the poetry, in this last month, or street art as it prepares for September. In nearly all the concerts, with some such as the first rockers U2 will offer Sept. 6 at the Istanbul Ataturk Stadium.

We chose a single view by continent of those breathtaking, often with a restaurant or bar to enjoy unique moments on the top.

At the top of the Eiffel Tower
Who could have told that the controversial Eiffel poor hulk of 324 meters up in the heart of Paris for the Universal Exhibition of 1889 would eventually become the symbol of the capital and up throughout France, not to mention the most visited monument planet. “Scrap Pile” or “hollow candlestick” was some of the nice things in those years she devoted to the scandalized Parisian Eiffel Tower, which avoided being dismantled thanks mainly to their heights, were appropriate for all types of antennas placed.

Today, converted rather in “the great iron lady”, offers unbeatable views of the capital of the Seine from its three floors open to the public. Inside, in addition, the lavish budgets can reserve a table the legendary Le Jules Verne restaurant on the second floor. And if the book is not for so many joys, the brasserie of the first 58 Tour Eiffel, proposed far more moderate prices to some views too precious. And at the top, champagne glass in his bar.

The Big Apple from the Empire State Building
Normal to Rio de Janeiro, with the splendid parorámica of the bay and the Cidade Maravilhosa who spend the heights of Christ the Redeemer, can not agree with this selection. But like it or not, New York is the capital of the world, and views of the Empire State Building, in the middle of Fifth Avenue are moving around the world since even before King Kong climb to the summit back in 1933.

It is no coincidence that this giant art-deco style and is 443′2 feet in the retina of all. His ‘Majesty’ has appeared, among many others, in films such as Superman, Coogan’s Bluff, Independence Day, Kramer vs. Kramer, Taxi Driver, New York Stories, With North by Northwest, On the Waterfront and whether, also was where Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks were found in the most famous scene from Sleepless in Seattle.

This skyscraper built in record time in the early 30’s again officiates as chief of New York after the attack on the Twin Towers. It rises almost a mile above the heart of Manhattan, with a veranda on the ground 86 and another in the 102-particularly romantic evening, because close at two o’clock, and three restaurants, cafes and even a post Post for mailing postcards from as top friends.

The mother of all cities from the Cairo Tower
A city with the vibrancy of Cairo must be lived from the road: the very close of the bazaars of Khan el Khalili or mosques and mansions adorned with decadent called Islamic Cairo, the Coptic neighborhood, studded with ancient churches, or choked stricter traffic of downtown. But occasionally there is also a stop at the crowd and the noise and give the soul a little respite. To do this, nothing better to hire a felucca for a few hours sailing down the Nile or, again, climb the 187 feet of the Tower of Cairo for, incidentally, wore one of the most breathtaking views of this “mother of all cities.”

Built in the 60s on the island of Gezira, one of the most modern and elegant neighborhoods of downtown, offers as high a restaurant surrounded by windows, very slowly rotates so that the diners are not lost or one of the angles, a bird’s eye view of the city are exhibited. While not required to dine there to admire the view. One can simply upload the picture to spot or have a drink. The witching sunset when the lights begin to twinkle from Cairo, is the most desirable.

The Chedi (Muscat, Oman); Begawan Giri Estate (Bali, Indonesia); Shambhala at Parrot Cay (Turks and Caicos archipelago, British West Indies), Bulgari Hotel (Milan, Italy), Bedarra Island (Queensland, Australia).

Water is the main protagonist of this park located in the heart of the Pyrenees of Lleida and is the most genuine representation of the high mountains.

It is only by the majesty of its landscapes, its harmonious combination of lush forests and green meadows, by the richness of its flora and fauna-fir planted centuries-old black pine forests where the legendary bearded finds refuge, “for its waterfalls and pristine snowfields, but above all by the nearly 200 mountain lakes or lakes that houses its main trademark.

It lies between the rivers Noguera Noguera Pallaresa and Ribagorzana and comprises two valleys: the Sant Nicolau, accessed from the village of Boi, and the Written, with center Espot. The highest peak is the peak Comaloforno of 3033 m but the best known and is the symbol of the park Encantats massif, two immense blocks that rise up to 2747 m. opposite the Sant Maurici Lake.

The Aigüestortes or winding waters that are in the valley of Sant Nicolau are very large and constitute a paradigmatic place, so much so they’ve given name to the national park. In its surroundings are small towns with temples discovered in pure primal remarkably preserved Roman art and declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

Inside China, some 30 kilometers east of Xi’an, which was the capital of twelve dynasties during 3000 years of history, lies a strange wonder: the 8,000 terracotta soldiers of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the newly unified country, built and arrange in battle formation near future grave.

The contemplation of the whole of the third century C., overwhelmed not only by its beauty and artistic quality of the figures, but also by the great mystery of an emperor who wanted to protect its passage to another world with a magical army now seems to load on their armor with the weight History and human fears.

Qin Shi Huang managed to unify all the kingdoms of China, not yet named so, in 221 BC Fully aware of the greatness of his achievement, created a new title to distinguish himself from his predecessors: huangdi, sum of di huang and, title-the mythical rulers of the origin of Chinese history, virtuous and perfect. At the same time, I was also a name of divinity.
This extreme desire to posterity obsessed the emperor, and led him to project at the beginning of his reign the mausoleum, which remained out of service until after his death, and steadily employed 700,000 people.

The soldiers, actual size, are divided into three graves. The first is the most impressive contains 6,000 warriors with their horses, ready for combat. All are modeled with extreme detail, and his face reflected in racial differences and uniform and rank. Originally carrying guns, but some of them were looted by peasants to the Qin dynasty fell. The second, with 1,300 troops, is still under excavation. The third, smallest, it is thought that it was the commander of the Terracotta Army, the high number of high-ranking officers in it.

At first it was thought that the terracotta army was part of the burial of the emperor, because of the great distance that separates him from the grave. We only know its contents by writings of the time, who speak of a dazzling treasury, and the emperor lying in a coffin of gold floating on a river of mercury, under a canopy of stars with precious stones. An image at the height of his ambition. His reign, iron, won him fame and cruel despot, but was not without grandeur gave political unification, that of writing, abolished feudalism, built a comprehensive communications system, was brief but his dynasty, his two great architectural works fulfilled their dream to last: the soldiers of his mausoleum and the Great Wall of China.

The death stunned the emperor at age 49, ironically during a trip through eastern China in search of the garden of the immortals and the secret of eternal life. His prime minister, fearing that the news trigger a coup or uprising, concealed the death of Emperor everyone. The secrecy that surrounded the emperor always made it possible for anyone suspected, and two wagons with fish strategically located next to his diligence disguised their decay. Back from the party, her youngest son conspired against the firstborn, the heir, and took the inheritance and, incidentally, life.

Those who have written on this clay army say they modeled on the belief that the emperor would go on having troops under their command. But judging from its authoritarian reputation and the bloody scene of betrayal that erupted after his death, can not believe anyone wanted that. And if the soldiers were designed to battle in the afterlife, then a sample was almost naive pragmatic and cautious character of the emperor. Maybe she was afraid of the wrath of many who had been killed, and I needed to feel protected by some magic of clay soldiers. Or maybe just those figures expressed their desire to enter another world as he had always walked by it: backed by the sound of guns.

Crossing the Atlantic under sail: a challenge cherished by every sailor worth his salt and affordable, too, as “mere mortals” with a thirst for adventure. From well into October, and finished the season in the Mediterranean, hundreds of sailboats with flags disparate van leaning against the Canarian ports in preparation for the great ocean crossings toward the Caribbean, often undertaken during November. It is time to finalize the development of ships, supply ships and stow everything needed for at least two weeks of sailing and, in many cases, crews completed.

They are also hundreds of adventurers every year around this time arrive in the Canaries looking to be admitted on board in exchange for guards and participate in sharing the work of the voyage as a crew more. Some experience as a navigator and minimal handling at least the English are usually good qualities to take a chance and thus cross the Pond for free or for a small fee to contribute to core costs.

Even if you are not the work left to the fortune to participate in such a trip and want to make sure both the travel plaza as authentic “sea dogs”, you can always call the boat rental companies that carry these Sailing dates its operations to the Caribbean and which offer them a small number of cabins for passengers, even without any previous experience, will have to act as a boy involved in all tasks of the seafaring life.

Shall, from the Canary Islands, two to three weeks when pushed forward by the trade winds on the back of the long Atlantic waves under the tropical sun, across 3,000 nautical miles almost perfect to address these months without, in principle, large good risks from storms and sea almost assured.

Long days without seeing land, alone with the ocean, where the guard duty at the helm or as domestic affairs and as vital as while cooking or cleaning the boat left countless hours to read, to clear the mind and spirit to those horizons by diaphanous rarely overlook other boats, to try his luck with the rod and try to catch some tuna with that prepare the freshest sushi to co-voyage and enjoy the unique atmosphere generated between participants in this truly exceptional experience, at least once in their life, no one should miss.

And notes that, if you can not organize it this year, in spring, usually in May, most of these yachts embark on the journey back to the Mediterranean and there and really do not have any excuse.

Some clues
The Atlantic Rally for Cruises rather than an actual race is an annual voyage that starts in November from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, which incorporates over 200 yachts up to make the ocean crossing in a way more secure since, apart from the strict security measures that are required for each boat to join them, the presence of marine experts in many boats is always a guarantee for novice sailors.

This year will leave on 22 November and ship owners who wish to join they can contact the organization for information on requirements and fees, while those who want to try their luck looking for a place in any of these boats is recommended that you arrive Las Palmas at least ten days before departure to allow enough time to go see what might need an extra crew member.

If you have your own boat and want to make sure the power to participate in the trip, you can contact rental companies take their sailing vessels operating in the Caribbean as Aproaches (Telp: 915 91 34 52 and 932 25 02 66), this year part with the Zulu, a lovely yacht with four double cabins for passengers since its launch in 2005, has crossed the Atlantic seven times. This time will sail from the Canary Islands on November 8 and is scheduled to arrive in Martinique, with a stopover in St. Lucia, the 29th. The price of adventure is 3,500 € per person plus about 40 € / day for the common fund for food and fuel and mooring costs, not including air travel.

The return trip can be done entirely from the British Virgin Islands with a stop in the Azores, to Torrevieja (between 7 and 30 May 2010, € 2,500 plus the amount of the pool), or by installments: Virgin Islands-Azores (between 7 and 21 May for € 2,000) and Azores-Torrevieja (between 30 May and 6 June, € 800).
